Central is a church that is located in downtown Springfield, Illinois.
We are central to the city.
People drive from all over Springfield and the surrounding community to participate in worship and other events at Central.
We are central to the state.
Central Illinois is in the heart of the Midwest and the center of Illinois state government. Our building is located just across the street from the governor's mansion and only one block from the state capital.
We are helping people find the center of God's will.
Our mission to help people discover and express God's will in their lives, moving them to the center of God's will. Through worship, community outreach, global outreach, youth and children's programs, fellowship meals, and more, Central Baptist exists to further God's mission in the world through God's people.
